I’m a Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon Alexa AI, based in Berlin, Germany.
I completed my PhD at Informatics Institute, University of Amsterdam. During my PhD, I worked on machine translation and deep learning, advised by Christof Monz and Arianna Bisazza. My PhD thesis can be found here.
Before starting my PhD, I did a master, EMLCT, in computational linguistics at University of Groningen and Charles University in Prague. Marco Wiering and Daniel Zeman were my master thesis supervisors.
Experience
- October, 2016 - January, 2017: Visiting researcher at FAIR, Paris.
- June - August, 2016: Research intern at USC/ISI, working under the supervision of Kevin Knight and Daniel Marcu.
- June - September, 2015: Research intern at Microsoft Research Redmond Lab, working with Kristina Toutanova, Chris Brockett, Saleema Amershi, and the self-sourcing team led by Jaime Teevan.
